What do we bring to the table?

Coloured acrylic is a type of nail system where the nail technician dips their brush into liquid monomer, and then into a fine coloured powder in order to create a bead that they then use to sculpt or cover a nail. Most salons use MMA nail liquid, which is a harmful chemical, NOT a cosmetic product. In fact, MMA is used as dental acrylic for fillings and is extremely difficult to remove without damaging the natural nail.

At Sugar Nail Studio, we ONLY use EMA acrylic, which is a safer alternative, specifically used for safe nail extension application. This EMA liquid is easier on the nails and makes removals quick, easy and painless. In addition, it preserves the natural nail and greatly reduces damage to them!
